Ellis Porter Supports the CHASS 5K, So Can YOU!
/Healthcare as a basic human right--- a philosophy that we at Ellis Porter believe in. That’s why we are so proud to share this commitment with CHASS- Community Health and Social Services Center. More than 40 years ago, CHASS recognized the importance of physical and mental wellness in often overlooked communities. Healthy eating, prenatal care, immunizations, dental care, and family planning are just a few of the important services that CHASS provides.
Help support CHASS’ Healthy Living Programs and Reach Out and Read Initiative on July 15th by joining the 5th Annual CHASS 5K. The Healthy Living Programs provide free education and physical activity classes to the community. Reach Out and Read supports childhood literacy through the distribution of books to children age 6 months to 5 years at each Well-Child visit.
Ellis Porter has been a proud sponsor of the CHASS 5K for the past four years. Our staff will be participating in the race and YOU CAN, TOO! You don’t need to be a runner to join in the fun. Walk/run/roll and bring the kids along for their own kid’s race. Entertainment and activities to follow the race.
