Ellis Porter Opens New Office in London, UK; Welcomes Back Attorney Arvinder Ubhi

Ellis Porter is excited to announce the launch of the firm’s first international office in London, UK.  Ellis Porter’s UK office becomes the firm’s fourth office in addition to the firm’s three Michigan offices in Troy, Ann Arbor and Detroit. With the launch of Ellis Porter UK Ltd, Ellis Porter becomes the first Michigan-based law firm with an office located in London.

Ellis Porter UK will provide US immigration law services to UK-based corporations seeking to transfer employees to work in the US, as well as individuals living in the UK who are seeking to visit or immigrate to the US. 

Ellis Porter’s UK office will be managed by Senior Attorney Arvinder Ubhi, a US licensed attorney with over eight years of experience practicing US immigration law with a focus on employment-based immigration.  Arvinder previously worked at Ellis Porter as an immigration attorney from 2012-2015.  He rejoins Ellis Porter after working as a US immigration attorney based in Toronto, Canada for two Big Four accounting firms, where he managed a high-volume employment-based immigration practice for multinational corporations.

Arvinder, who was born and raised in the London, will be based full time in Ellis Porter’s UK office, which will be supported by Ellis Porter’s team of over 50 immigration professionals in the US.
