Senior Case Manager | Healthcare Team

Marisa Ignash is a Senior Case Manager on our Healthcare Team.  Before joining Ellis Porter, Marisa gained several years of specialized experience working in a nationally-recognized healthcare immigration specialty firm, which made for a natural transition to our healthcare client service team.  Although she has experience working with clients in other industries as well, Marisa definitely speaks the language of the healthcare field and she has a special talent for supporting our clients as they navigate this complex area of immigration. 

Marisa provides top notch support to our healthcare employer clients, including large health systems, and their international employees on H-1B and TN work visa applications, Conrad  30 J-1 Waivers and Green Card applications.  She is brings a strategic approach to the time and cost sensitivities related to each case, and our clients really appreciate her prompt, no-nonsense approach that keeps her focused on getting things done the right way, the first time around.  But don't let her knack for practicality fool you - Marisa has a fun-loving personality and she is one of those people who easily connects with everyone she meets.  

Outside the office, Marisa is an avid reader, enjoys traveling, and likes getting together with friends.  She also enjoys baking, which is a highly sought-after skill at Ellis Porter ("Do you like to cook/bake?" is actually one of our standard interview questions).
