Kristi Crawford provides strategic analysis and advice for Ellis Porter's healthcare clients. Leveraging over 21 years of practical experience in the field, she provides unique immigration solutions for physicians, healthcare organizations, and related medical professionals.
Clients find Kristi to be very approachable. She makes even arcane Conrad 30 waivers and National Interest Waivers for Clinical Physicians (PNIW) easy to understand. Simple but thorough explanations of the advantages between various application paths (including PERM and PNIW) and counseling clients engaged in the J-1 waiver employment search are areas in which she excels.
Kristi is an active member of the International Medical Graduate Taskforce which advocates for sensible healthcare-related immigration policy. She participates in efforts aimed at the need for Conrad 30 reauthorization, visa retrogression, the nonimmigrant and immigrant visa caps, and other issues of concern to international medical graduates.
Kristi’s spouse is an academic electrophysiologist and an immigrant from Poland. You could say that her insight into the needs of the medical community is shaped by the experience of seeing these important career decisions from a personal perspective.
Outside of professional pursuits, Kristi is a dressage enthusiast and regularly trains and competes with her horse. She’s also one of our downhill skiing buffs and never shies away from a good snowfall.
