Allyn is a Senior Attorney and Director of our Green Card Services practice team, which manages PERM-based EB-2/EB-3 I-140 Immigrant Petitions, Adjustment of Status (AOS) Applications and Immigrant Visa Applications for employment-based clients of Ellis Porter’s Automotive/Engineering, Healthcare, Technology and High-Skilled Immigration practice teams.
What really sets Allyn apart is her ability to help clients understand the complexities of the I-140, AOS and Immigrant Visa processes, while also making sure their applications are prepared promptly and accurately. She takes great pride in knowing that she is helping clients cross the finish line in what is typically a very long immigration journey towards US permanent resident (green card) status.
Allyn's personal experience at the intersection of immigration and the law is that of her parents. They immigrated from Honduras where her grandmother was an attorney and judge. Inspired by her grandmother, Allyn says she’s wanted to be an attorney for as long as she can remember. We think she made the right career choice!
Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Allyn admits that her driving skills are much better in the rain than the snow. That doesn’t deter her from traveling frequently to Northern Michigan, one of her favorite pastimes.
Allyn’s college sports passion fits right in at Ellis Porter. She even got married on the campus of the University of Michigan. That’s taking team dedication to a whole other level!
